FAQs
What is the group class size?
Each class is limited to 8 participants. This small‑group size lets me give individualized cues, correct form in real time, and tailor modifications to each student’s needs.
What do I wear / bring?
Comfortable clothes. You’ll want clothing that lets you move freely, stays comfortable as you sweat a little, and doesn’t get in the way of the precise, controlled motions the practice emphasizes. Bare feet are encouraged, you are welcome to wear grippy socks if that feels better to you. Bring your own mat and some water.
Do I need prior experience?
Not at all. I design every class based on who has joined that day and can offer modifications to either up the challenge, or learn the beginning basics. All are welcome.
Is Pilates safe for injuries, chronic conditions, pregnancy?
Generally yes. I’ll check in with you prior to class to ask if you have any injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, or medical conditions beforehand and suggest suitable modifications. Every movement is low impact and can be adapted and modified. Many clients find mat Pilates helpful for chronic conditions as it focuses on core stability, pelvic floor work, and gentle stretching, all while building strength.
